Giving is an act of worship. When we give, we declare that God is our source, our sufficiency, and the one for whom we live — not money, not possessions, but Jesus Christ.
Generosity is not a church fundraising strategy. It is the posture of every person who has truly understood the grace of Jesus Christ. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
At Bethel Bible Church, we give because we have first received — immeasurably, undeservedly, and freely. Our giving reflects our trust in God as our provider, our commitment to the mission He has given us, and our love for the people He is calling to Himself.
Your generosity directly supports:
Maintaining a welcoming, excellently prepared place of worship every Sunday.
Evangelism, community outreach, and the proclamation of the gospel to our city and beyond.
Teaching, Welcome Classes, and resources that equip disciples to grow in Christ.
Supporting our pastor and future staff to serve the congregation with full devotion.
Meeting the practical needs of members and neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ.
Supporting the Great Commission locally and globally, making disciples of all nations.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”— 2 Corinthians 9:7
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”— Malachi 3:10
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”— Matthew 6:21

John 3:16 — The Greatest Act of Generosity in All of History
The biblical vision of stewardship is not about giving a portion of what is “ours” to God. It is the recognition that everything belongs to God (Psalm 24:1), and that we are managers — not owners — of the resources He has entrusted to us. We are called to hold loosely the things of this world, and to invest generously in the things of the Kingdom that will endure forever.
Scripture consistently teaches the tithe — ten percent of one’s income — as the baseline of faithful giving. The tithe supports the local church and is a tangible act of trust in God as our provider (Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27:30).
Beyond the tithe, we are invited to give offerings — joyfully, freely, and in response to the Spirit’s leading. Generosity is one of the clearest signs of a heart transformed by the gospel (2 Corinthians 8–9).
At Bethel, the offering is not an interruption to worship — it is worship. When we give, we declare with our resources that God is Lord over every area of our lives, and that His Kingdom matters more than our comfort (Matthew 6:33).
If you have questions about tithing, stewardship, or how your gift is used, reach out to Pastor Hill directly. We believe in full transparency with our congregation.
Every gift — large or small — is an act of faith and an investment in God’s kingdom. Thank you for partnering with Bethel Bible Church in the mission of making disciples and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
